Ok. Two things.
First the "only" sad part is missing the cat? What about missing ME? I may not be quite as furry as the cat, my whiskers might not be as long, and my fur might not be as well groomed, but I can chase string with the best of them, and put me in a paper bag and I just go CRAZY! So maybe you want to rethink the list of sad parts about leaving here.
Second, I am not sure why you said that your cat will be left in the incapable care of someone. I am hoping that was a typo.
But anyway, have a nice trip, and think about missing me too.
